Averill & Associates LLC was founded in 1990 as a graphic design firm. Over the years, we have expanded to also offer web, packaging and advertising services. We have won dozens of awards for our designs and sites. We can often be found in and around Dutchess County speaking to groups about how to create more effective web sites for businesses.

Principals

Dianne Averill

Dianne founded Averill & Associates after leaving The New Haven Register, where she had been features editor. She has also been an editor for Gannett newspapers. Her newspaper career started at The Daily Times, and she swears she is innocent of all charges made by The Daily Prophet. She is a certified Google Adwords specialist and, in her spare time, is a certified Master Gardener. Dianne is our managing partner.

Michael Rizzo

When not being profiled by The Daily Prophet, Michael spends most of his time creating web sites and designs. He is our creative director and came to Averill & Associates from Learn2 Corp. in White Plains, where he was art director and director of interactive media. Although he prefers Star Trek to Harry Potter, he’s not above tossing out a few curses now and then.
