A COLOR FOR EACH MODE

A little less guessing.
A little more clarity.

Give ChatGPT and Codex modes a different color and style. Mark both, or enable just the one you want. Each mode remembers its own settings.

MAKE IT YOURS

Two ways to see the difference.

Choose a subtle tint across the top of a window or a colored border around it.

Top Bar

A quiet wash of color across the top of the window. Set the tint from 10% to 25%.

Border

A more defined outline, with adjustable thickness. It fades while the window moves.

Illustrations of the two indicator styles. Your chosen color applies to either style.

Indicators let clicks pass through and never take keyboard focus. Use Launch at login if you want ModeMark ready when you sign in.

MADE FOR YOUR MAC

Small utility. Clear purpose.

ModeMark runs in your Mac’s menu bar and follows the windows it recognizes. It requires macOS 13 or later, Accessibility permission, and a compatible ChatGPT desktop app with an English interface.

ModeMark supports modes inside ChatGPT’s desktop app. Browser tabs, the standalone Codex app, and other applications are outside its supported scope. Open ChatGPT’s sidebar during setup so ModeMark can identify each window’s mode.
